i love this reverb/delay pedal. might not be the BEST but it's built like a tank. the price was the best. 0 dollars. given to me be by brad rosenberg of 1888. someone had left it behind in his studio so he just gave it to me. sweet score but i also got a farfisa from him too. same way. thats what happens when you spend almost a year in a studio. you go crazy

That pedal is such a jem if you're working with an amp that doesn't have it's own reverb to begin with. I mean there's really only about 3-4 choices in that case--> Fender or Soldano Spring Reverb unit: $300-$400, some crazy Lexicon rack unit: Waaay more, The Electro Harmonix Holy Grail; Noisy little fuck, or the RV-5, which doesn't even have delay. First, isn't delay a form of reverberation to begin with? Second, Boss decided to make it so you have to buy TWO pedals instead of one. Personally, I'm in love with my Ibanez AD-9 Analog Delay. I can get some decent slapback mock-tape echo sound with it.
p.s. If I can't afford to get my Vibro King fixed & shipped back from LA LA Land, I've decided to build my own amp. A few companies out there that sell kits...
